It is our goal that through the development of Wrightsville Beach Board Riders Club Inc. (WBBR) we will facilitate and direct well organized, community-driven surfing events that will further solidify the sport of surfing and the positive culture that surrounds it. The purpose is to bring the community closer together in a meaningful way that considers sportsmanship and a collective sustainable environment as a whole.

Wrightsville Beach Board Riders Club Inc. is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization filed with the North Carolina Secretary of State. The WBBR is structured as an affiliate of the larger governing body, US Board Riders Clubs (USBRC). The formal organization of WBBR is to further develop the growth of the USBRC on the East Coast and more specifically in the southeastern North Carolina town of Wrightsville Beach and greater New Hanover County region.
